Year Three Classroom Information

Homework

Homework is sent home on Tuesdays, to be returned the following Monday. 

A homework pouch will be provided containing a booklet with six weeks worth of work in it. It is designed for the children to complete the homework on a weekly basis.

A copy of the homework booklet can be found below.

Autumn One

Reading Books

Reading books are sent home on a Monday, and are returned on Thursday of the same week. Please date the reading record when you have listened to your child read each week.

A Year Three specific bookmark for parents to use when reading with their child will be passed over at parents evening alongside a copy of the Year Three spelling booklet.

 Alternatively, copies of the bookmark and the spellings are available here to download.

 P.E. 

P.E is timetabled for  Thursday & Dance is on a Friday. Please ensure your child has their full kit in school.  The kit will be sent home each half term to be washed. 

Lunch

Lunch is from 12.15 until 1.15.  All children are given fresh water to drink, so you do not need to send in any drinks from home. Please ensure your child has a healthy, balanced lunch if they bring one from home.
